blackberry jam
ingredients:
3 cartons blackberries
1 granny smith apple
1 cup big sis elderflower & co. honey
1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
directions:
wash produce. add blackberries to large stockpot. remove the core from the apple, leave skin attached and grate. add to pot. add honey and lemon juice. heat on high to boil, reduce and simmer 15 minutes. use potato masher or immersion blender to smash blackberries until consistency is to your liking and there are no chunks. simmer for additional 15-45 mins. add to heat-treated jar and deliver to your loved one to make their day :)
